December 2007

Greetings!

This year we worked through the entire Performance Management Cycle and this is the moment for celebration.

The holiday season marks so many things – time to reflect on the achievements of the past year. Time to catch our breath and celebrate the joy of working with others with whom we laugh and share much of our lives. Our colleagues often become friends, and treasured friends at that.

This has been a wonderful year for us. Don Cousens, Lois Tori and Fred Faber joined me to form the Centre for Character Leadership. Our goal is provide the tools to lead from the inside out. To leverage  authentic character to engage their teams for concrete results. Respect, Responsibility and Results.

Lois, Fred and I had the rewarding opportunity to provide a Keynote Address at the Vanguard Conference, York Region District School Board.

We would like to thank you, our clients and patrons by contributing to the Children's Aid Foundation through their Surrogate Santa Program. This holiday season, the Children's Aid Foundation's goal is to provide support to more than 2,500 disadvantaged families.  The Centre for Character Leadership donated holiday meals for two families of four and a gift for each child.  For more information on the Children's Aid Foundation please go to www.surrogatesanta.ca.

The Centre for Character Leadership also contributed to the Salvation Army and the Character Community Foundation which focuses on building character in our schools, businesses and greater community.

Best wishes for a wonderful season,

Leadership Engagement Behaviours
